Our American Adventure
Sorry for the delay in updating our blog...we recently went away to the USA on a 5 week holiday. We left at the beginning of February and returned mid-March. OUr trip took us to the west coast of LA where we stayed with our Aunty Pauline...thanks Aunty for letting us stay with you, the girls loved it! We spent most of our time in and around Los Angeles and the girls had a ball getting to know their "second cousins". We had a wonderful time away as a family and we only wish we could do it more often....anyway here's a little look into our time away...enjoy!!
Disneyland...where dreams really do come true! Day one!
At the end of our first week in LA we headed to Disneyland for 5 days of fun fun fun....needless to say the girls had an amazing time...especially Emily! If you ever get the chance...you have to take your kids there...at least once! We all loved it, even little Chloe.
One of the first people we met....MICKEY MOUSE!

Our wonderful happy family!

No trip to Disneyland would be complete without a ride on DUMBO!
Same goes for the teacups in Alice in Wonderland!
Emily loved the Matterhorn, a medium sized rollercoaster ride complete with abominable snowmen! once I reassured her the abominable snowmen weren't real ...she went on it a total of 4 times! We discovered Em's a bit of a daredevil, willing to try anything once. She went on any and every ride where she met their height requirements...and she got upset when she was too short for some of the more daring rides! Guess that means we'll have to take her again when she's a little taller!
It's a small world...we all loved this ride, its a classic.

"See I told you I could do it!! I've got muscles!" - Emily
Mickey's Toontown!
Minnie Mouse - Emily's favourite!
Emily and Sid in Mickey Mouse's house
Mickey Mouse again...Chloe was really into it as you can see!
Pluto and friends
Even the plates were Mickey inspired! These were the kids' meals we had...wish we had kept the bowls!
