Emily and Chloe went to our local mother's group Christmas party...we started out as a group when our oldest children were first born, almost 4 years ago and fortunately we're still together now and as you can see the number of children has doubled too, with all of us having had our second babies within the last 18 months. The girls love it and look forward to meeting their friends every thursday.

Chloe had her first friend's birthday party this year...Evangeline was born about 4 days before Chloe, so they are the best of friends hehehe...It was a great day and all the kids had lots of fun poking at each other and pulling each others clothes and ears as little babies do! We'll be sure to post some pics of Chloe's first birthday party too!

Emily had her Daycare Christmas Concert last week and did really well. She sang all the songs and knew all the actions, what a difference a year makes, last Christmas she just sat there and stared at everyone....but this year she was really getting into the songs and the whole day which was great to see. She will miss her friends at Midson Rd as she starts pre-school in Jan 2007, but is excited to be going to "big school".

And that brings us up to Christmas...as you can see we've been quite busy leading up to Christmas, Emily has been a great help, drawing Christmas Cards, making Christmas cookies and wrapping presents. She's now at the age where she's starting to really understand what Christmas means and represents...not just pressies, cookies, candy canes and parties! She's been telling people its a special time because it's Jesus' birthday and he came here for everyone...which is awesome!

2006 has been another wonderful and exciting year for us. We thank God for His neverending love and provision. He has truly been watching over us this year in many ways. Emily has been maturing so quickly and is always doing or saying things that constantly amaze us. And then of course, there was the birth of our beautiful Chloe at the beginning of the year...we still can't believe she is almost one in a couple weeks time! They really don't stay little for long!
Sid and I still get overwhelmed when we sit back and take stock of what our life is like now...we have been blessed with our own little beautiful, healthy, growing family...a loving and caring extended family and lifelong friends who are a constant source of encouragement and support each and every day, all of whom we thank God for daily.
So as we celebrate Christmas and the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, our prayer for you all is that you too may come to know and experience the joy and love that comes only from knowing Christ and having Him in your lives. And we pray that you all have a safe and blessed Christmas with your loved ones and a very happy new year...see you all in 2007. Merry Christmas!
Love and blessings from Sid, Michelle, Emily and Chloe.
