Happy New Year! We've had a great start to 2007, we spent New Year's Eve at Star City Casino watching the fire works, then on the 2nd January we celebrated our baby's first birthday, followed by a big birthday bash for Chloe on the 6th January! Below are some of the pics from the last couple weeks!...Enjoy!

We were blessed with great weather after a week of rain...it was a typical hot Australian summer's day and the kids had a ball in our little wading pool, I think some of the adults would have loved to join them!

The morning after the fireworks, 1st January 2007 
12 Midnight fireworks over the Harbour Bridge. 
These are some of the 9pm family fireworks, and then Sid and Emily decided they needed a nap, Emily wanted us to wake her up for the 12midnight fireworks....we tried! But she slept right through them... 
We had a great view of the fireworks, all from the comfort of our room, here's a few shots I took through the hotel room window. 
Emily wanted to rest....but she said the room was too bright, so she opted for the bath tub!

Wongcuties: how wonderful to see our friends, the parties, the fireword and most important of all, the girls who are growing up fast. We love the goregous birthday cake. What a work of art and labour of love... and puts all our effort pale in comparison. It's one good way for us to also see how our friends are doing (or looking! :-) Thank you and wish you a very blessed new year. Friends from Shanghai!
